Terms and Conditions

The Management and Staff are delighted that you are considering holding your special occasion at Tawarri. To ensure that your event is run at the highest standard, please read the following Terms and Conditions.

TEMPORARY BOOKING

Tentative bookings may be made for 48 hours, and
unless you inform us otherwise, the booking will automatically cancel after that time.

If another enquiry is received for the same date, we would require your immediate deposit within 48 hours.

CONFIRMING YOUR BOOKING

Absolute confirmation occurs on receipt of a
$1000.00 deposit, and signed acknowledgement of terms and conditions. Cash, credit card or cheques are payable to Tawarri Reception Centre. Payment of the deposit is your acceptance of the terms and conditions as outlined. Credit card transactions will attract a surcharge.

TIMINGMENU DECISIONS

At least 4 weeks prior to your function , we should
have confirmation of final arrangements and be well advanced towards all details.

Prices will be confirmed at this time only. Finalisation meetings are held between
11.00am and 3.00pm Monday to Friday.

FINAL NUMBERS

We need to have a guarantee of the minimum number of guests one week before the function. You may increase numbers right up to the day of the event. Please advise any vegetarian needs. Any increase in numbers must be made in writing prior to the function date.

PAYMENT

The full amount for the function must be paid not less than 10 working days prior to the function date, by cash, bank cheque, personal cheque or credit card
and made payable to Tawarri Reception Centre. If paying by credit card (bankcard, MasterCard, visa) a surcharge of 3% will apply to the total of the account. Any balance will have to be settled at the close of the function.

PUBLIC HOLIDAY WEEKENDS

A 20% surcharge applies to the total bill for functions held on public holidays. Should your function fall on the eve of a public holiday a smaller surcharge applies to cover cost of staff who work into the early hours of the public holiday morning. Please call for further details.

USE OF TAWARRI RECEPTION CENTRE PREMISES

Tawarri is a very experienced organization, dedicated to providing only successful functions. We have thousands of people on our premises in the course of a year, but any loss or damage for personal possessions cannot be accepted as or responsibility.

Function Principals are financially liable for any damage to Tawarri premises or grounds, furbishing and equipment caused by their guests.

We will try to accommodate any requests for bringing additional decorations into the venue. We cannot permit anything attached in any way to the walls of the building without the express permission of the Manager.

Evening – 6.00 – 12.00pm Lunch – 11.30am-3.30pm Breakfast – 7.00– 10.00am

EXTENSIONS OF THESE TIMES WILL ATTRACT A $250 PER HOUR
CHARGE. MINIMUM 1 HOUR EXTENSION. APPLICABLE FOR LUNCH & DINNER ONLY

CANCELLATIONS

Tawarri Reception Centre would share in your disappointment if your function were cancelled however your deposit is non-refundable.

All Cancellations must be received in writing.

We reserve the right to charge a fee of the estimated total cost of the function as follows, if the function is cancelled within these times of the function date: Within 60-90 days before – 25% Within 8-59 days before – 50% Within 7 days before – 100%

DECORATIONS

Candelabras, scatters and confetti are not permitted in the venue. All set-up is to be carried out on the day of the reception and ALL DECORATIONS AND CHAIR COVERS MUST BE PICKED UP AT THE END OF THE FUNCTION.

Tawarri staff will be happy to pack away for a charge of $100.00. Tawarri is a busy venue and has minimal storage space. We are not liable for property left on
our premises.

CANDLES

All candles must be in an enclosed glass / vase / holder. As Tawarri staff prioritise pre-dinner service of beverage & canapes, please allocate decorator,
family member or friend to assist in lighting candles prior to the start of the function if candles are in bulk amount. BYO gas lighters.

ENTERTAINERS / DJ’s

Bands, DJ’s and other entertainers MUST be discussed
with management at the time of booking to avoid any misunderstandings at a later stage. Tawarri has a preferred list of entertainers who respect the rules and regulations of the venue.

CAKE DELIVERY

All cakes to be delivered on the day of the reception.
